Grandma and Grandpa Engler came to visit this weekend. We went to the St. Louis Pirate Festival on Saturday. We had a good time, Jacob was a little nervous about all the crazy people all dressed up though. Here he is with one of the Desperate Housewives of Martinique.
Jacob wanted me to hold him, but as you can see Carter was straped to my front. So the only way to do it was to put him on my back. Just a day in the life of a mom with two kids!
Jacob wasn't to sure about the bird, but Grandma had fun holding it! :)
Daddy gave holding the bird a try too....still Jacob didn't want anything to do with it...
Jacob didn't want to wear the eye-patch that Grandma got, but Carter didn't seem to mind it!
On Sunday it was raining and cold outside so we went to the indoor pool where Jacob had taken his swimming lessons. It is no wonder Jacob didn't want to pay too much attention to the lessons, the giant playground in the water is much more fun!
