Xmas Eve and Trip to Florida

Here are some pictures from Christmas Eve and our trip to Florida. We don't have much from opening presents this year, we took mostly video. It snowed and we had a white Christmas here in St. Louis. We left Christmas Night late for our long journey to Florida to stay with Grammie and Yei Yei.
Starting to make a snow man!
It snowed from about 1/2 hour after we left our house until we got through the mountains. Here are some pictures from the road.

Carter's first touch of the sand!
We went to this place called the Babcock Ranch. We were hoping to see some Alligators and other animals. We took a ride on the "buggie" which was a school bus without windows in it. Jacob had fun looking out the window at all the animals.

Jacob held on as we got moving. He kept saying what's happening?! when we were moving.
This is a Cracker Cow, they have horns and aren't bread for meat. Sad looking cow...
The swamp...
Going to see the panthers.
On the buggie.
The tour guide had an aligator to show all of us since we couldn't really see any in the wild since it was so cold. It was just a baby, but Jacob was a little hesistant to touch it. Here he is looking at everyone hold and pet it.
Jacob loved getting ice cream from this place called Pinnocio's on Sanibel. He really liked the green ice cream with the animal cracker that came on top.
Carter fell asleep in the bike trailer on our trip to get ice cream.
Carter loved the beach.
Carter taking a nap on the beach. I got this as a shower gift when I was pregnant with Jacob and never used it. It came in handy this year at the beach!
Jacob and Eric flying the kite! It was perfect kite flying weather.
We drove though a nature preserve. Here are the boys at one of the places we stopped.
All of us.
Jacob got to sit on Eric's lap and navigate through the nature preserve. It was one way and only going extremely slow....so he had fun.

We had a great time on our trip! Thanks Grammie and Yei Yei for putting up with us for the week!
